Bridget Sullivan Mermel helps people gain control of their money. In 1997, she started a tax practice helping folks with tax planning and preparation in the Lakeview/Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago. Money coaching, then personal financial advisory services soon followed as clients responded to Bridget's method of understanding how people operate with money. Variety of experience is a hallmark of her career and current practice. She earned a BA in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Masters in Liberal Arts from DePaul University in Chicago. She worked at Peterson & Company supporting high-profile litigation, as a manager, then district manager at Starbucks during their start-up phase, and supporting derivatives trading at O'Connor & Associates. She has earned both a CFP® and CPA designations, and belongs to the Alliance of Cambridge Advisors (ACA) and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA.)
