Would you rest easier knowing that you are doing everything you need to in order to achieve financial independence? Do you want to have more time and freedom for the things you enjoy? You can. Whatever your current situation, financial concerns have an impact on your life and relationships. We can help you make the financial decisions that will make the most of what you have now and help you build a more secure, enjoyable future. David M. Zolt, CFP®, EA worked over 20 years in corporate retirement and employee benefit planning as a senior fee-only advisor. David’s position as trusted advisor to some of the largest pools of liquid assets in the world gave him the rare opportunity to watch professionals advise multi-million and multi-billion dollar pension funds utilizing the best practices of investing. In the process, he learned firsthand how seasoned professionals invest. David’s clients included The Ford Motor Company, American Greetings, The United Nations, The World Bank and The International Monetary Fund. In planning for his own financial future, David looked for a personal financial advisor who would advise him in the same independent and truly objective way that he provided advice to clients. David discovered that, unlike the corporate world, personal financial planners are almost exclusively product salespeople and asset gatherers, rather than truly objective financial advisors. Product salespeople are paid commissions for selling clients unnecessarily expensive and inefficient insurance products and loaded mutual funds. Asset gathers try to gather as much of your assets as possible, which may not be in your best interest, because they are paid by taking a percentage of your assets “under management” each year. Disillusioned with the options available, David learned to do his own retirement and investment planning. After designing and implementing a plan for his own financial independence, David concluded that there is a great need for truly objective and comprehensive financial planning and decided to provide this service to clients. David is a Certified Financial Planner®, an Enrolled Agent, and a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland. When you work with us, you can expect:
