The ACA Success Program for Financial Advisors

A successful financial planning practice requires that you focus on what is important, that you master the tools and techniques of working efficiently, that you define and work toward your goals, and that you are ready to seize new opportunities. Our training program - the ACA Success Program - prepares new and established financial advisors for success using many modalities: self-study, classroom instruction, computer lab work, coaching and mentoring, case study exercises, conference calls, web conferencing, and role playing.

The Self-Study Program

Work at your own pace to master these materials. The modular self-study portion of our training program grounds you in our Core Concepts, shows you how to set up and market your fee-only financial planning practice, and guides you through each client appointment in the Cambridge System™. The written materials are supplemented by audio and video presentations. You can start generating revenue immediately as a holistic financial advisor, even while you are completing the training program.

Virtual Classroom

Our expert financial advisors enhance your training in our virtual classroom. Conference calls and web conferences supplement and reinforce what you're learning through self-study.

The Group Instruction

Practical experience as a financial advisor is the focus of the group instruction segment of our training program. Working through real-life client scenarios helps build your confidence and your ability to communicate the value of your financial planning services to prospective clients, as well as preparing you to provide your current clients with superior service.

Upcoming Group Instruction Training:
September 22 - 26, 2008
January 12 - 16, 2009

Coaching & Mentoring

You receive personalized support several ways: unlimited access to our Success Program Concierge, consultation with compliance attorneys familiar with the Cambridge System™, professional marketing advice, and a mentor to help you work effectively and productively with your first clients.

In those critical first few months, our 3-Month Quick Start Checklist helps you stay on track and handle all the details involved in working through the training program and setting up your financial planning practice.

Visiting Advisor Program

Spend time with other ACA members, observing their office set-up and sitting in on client appointments. Our members tell us that this experience was the highlight of their training, allowing them to see the systems in practice and identify shortcuts to building their ideal financial planning practice.

Continuing Education: The Annual Conference

There is nothing quite like our Annual Conference. Our members consistently identify this conference as the most valuable of all they attend. We focus on the topics and issues barely touched on at most financial planning conferences, those that support your work as a holistic financial advisor, with lots of time spent on sharing the Best of ACA--the best marketing strategies, the best practice management solutions, the best tax, financial planning and investment strategies for clients, the best idea each member put into practice in the previous year. Our Annual Conference will help you maintain and improve your skills, leading to greater success and satisfaction in your practice and your life.
